Project Challenges
This project is located in a prime location. Since this is a fully developed area there are houses built around the plot and there is no space to place a labour hut or to store construction materials. Even for foundation works there is no space to place the excavated soil, so we had to do the foundation work in phases and also we had the groundwater level in this plot was just 3 feet below from existing ground level. So it was very challenging for us to work during the foundation as the foundation pit would be stagnated with water. We had to empty it using pumps and then place the PCC and footing reinforcements to concrete it.
